The 2018 season has been a special one for the Atlanta Braves and they added another award to the trophy case on Tuesday when Brian Snitker was named National League Manager of the Year. Snitker received 17 of 30 first place votes by the writers. Milwaukee’s Craig Counsell finished second in the voting.
Ronald Acuña Jr was named Rookie of the Year on Monday and spoke with the media from Japan where he is taking part in the Japan All-Star series.
“I’m just flattered, I’m so honored,” Acuna said through an interpreter from Hiroshima.
