The game between the host New York Mets and Atlanta Braves was postponed Friday due to inclement weather.
No makeup date was announced. Mets manager Luis Rojas told reporters that the teams will look to add a doubleheader to a four-game series July 26-29 as a makeup for Friday.
With rainy weather forecast for the East Coast through the weekend, it might not be the only Braves-Mets game impacted over the weekend.
"We've just got to get ready to play a game tomorrow," Rojas said. "These are very important games.
