May 22 - Max Fried will try to extend his unbeaten streak against Chicago on Wednesday night when the Atlanta Braves visit the Cubs for the second contest of their three-game series.
The Cubs won the opener 4-3 in 10 innings on Tuesday to tie the season series at 2-2.
Wednesday's game will feature Fried (3-2, 3.81 ERA) against Chicago's Justin Steele (0-1, 5.21) in a battle of left-handers.
Fried is 5-0 with a 1.24 ERA in five career starts against the Cubs and is 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA in three starts at Wrigley Field.
