The Atlanta Braves aren't planning to shock baseball ahead of the MLB trade deadline.
According to FanSided's Robert Murray, the Braves don't plan to trade anyone who they have under contract beyond this season.
That removes the craziest name floated in trade speculation of late: Ronald Acuña Jr.
The Braves have Acuña under contract for 2026 at $17 million, then have team options at that same dollar total for both 2027 and 2028. Those are immense values for one of the best players in baseball.
Sure, Acuña has dealt with a couple serious knee injuries, but he's so darn good when he's on the field.
