Weather permitting, the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals will wrap up a four-game series Sunday with a day/night doubleheader at Truist Park. This is the Cardinals’ only trip into Atlanta so it would seem that they will make every effort to get the games in if possible.
Atlanta’s pitching is going to be put to the test this week as they will kick off a stretch where they will play 10 games in eight days. They are scheduled for another doubleheader Monday in New York in what will be a critical four-game series against the NL East leading Mets.
