After completing a 3-3 homestand, the Atlanta Braves are headed north where they will open a four-game series against the New York Mets at Citi Field Monday evening with another doubleheader. Atlanta split a doubleheader Sunday against the Cardinals and will now face a critical week against the NL East leading Mets before moving on to Cincinnati.
Whether it is gamesmanship or something else, we don’t know a lot of specifics for Monday’s doubleheader. The Braves will start Ian Anderson and rookie Kyle Muller but have yet to announce what order they will go in.
