Charlie Morton will take the mound Tuesday night when the Atlanta Braves continue their three-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Atlanta dropped the opener 5-3 as Drew Smyly struggled again. The Braves have now lost five straight and eight of their last nine games overall at Dodger Stadium.
The Braves will look for better results Tuesday behind Morton who is looking to finish off a solid August. Morton allowed six hits, four runs and struck out nine over five innings in his last start against the Yankees. That snapped a streak of eight straight starts where he had allowed three runs or less.
