On yesterday's date way back in 2014, the Atlanta Braves traded slugger Justin Upton and Aaron Northcraft to the Padres in exchange for a plethora of prospects. Atlanta received Mallex Smith, Dustin Peterson, Jace Peterson, and future ace Max Fried in return.
