With one calendar month of the season now in the books, it’s time again for my favorite thing to plague you all with — monthly recaps. Enjoy this walk through short-term memory lane.
The Braves finished April (as well as three season-opening games in March) with 14 wins and 15 losses. On the surface, that number is underwhelming. After all, they went the entirety of the 2018 division-winning season with only one sub-.500 month, and just like that, they’ve already managed one this year. Yet, if you take a step back and think about it, it’s not really underwhelming at all.
