While the start of the offseason brought about endless conversations with experts and fans alike about the Atlanta Braves' shortstop situation, that chatter has quieted over the last few weeks. A big part of that is likely due to the fact that the offseason shortstop market is terrible and the Braves did trade for Mauricio Dubon after all, but Atlanta kept the door open to add an everyday shortstop and there has been essentially nothing about it since then.
The Braves have been connected to basically any possibly available infielder that could feasibly play shortstop this offseason.
