The Braves were unable to add onto an early lead on Tuesday night and eventually fell to the Dodgers, 3-2.
Things were looking up as Joc Pederson got revenge on his former club with a no-doubt solo homer in the third inning. Travis d’Arnaud then plated Austin Riley with a double in the fourth to extend the lead to 2-0.
Unfortunately, that was all Atlanta would muster against Walker Buehler and the L.A. bullpen, and the Dodger bats went to work shortly after. Mookie Betts hit one just over the wall in the fourth to cut the deficit to 2-1, and a Chris Taylor sacrifice fly in the seventh tied the score at 2-2.
