Braves right-hander Charlie Morton is out for the rest of the World Series after fracturing his fibula in Game 1 on Tuesday night.
RHP Charlie Morton underwent X-rays tonight that revealed a right fibula fracture. He will miss the remainder of the World Series and is expected to be ready for Spring Training in 2022.

Morton was hit by a Yuli Gurriel comebacker in the bottom of the second inning but stayed in to record three more outs, including two strikeouts.
