Today’s September 1, which means that the active roster for all MLB teams expands from 26 players to 28. The Atlanta Braves announced that the team has activated infielder/pitcher Luke Williams from the 10-day IL and recalled right-handed pitcher Rolddy Muñoz to fill-out the roster.
Muñoz, whose twin bother Roddery has also pitched in the big leagues and was a Braves minor leaguer, has pitched in Double-A and Triple-A this season. He’s struck out 51 in 55 innings in 37 total games with a .206 batting average against. Three of his appearances did start games this season.
