A season to forget for left-handed reliever A.J. Minter officially came to an end on Thursday as the Braves placed him on the 60-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation.
The Braves also reinstated left-handed reliever Grant Dayton from the injured list and placed him on the active roster.
Minter, who was injured during a minor car accident in the spring, never found his footing after a breakout campaign in 2018. He struggled to the tune of a 7.06 ERA (4.61 FIP) across 36 appearances and 29 1⁄3 innings with the big league club.
