The Braves used a volley of singles and small ball to rally after Bartolo Colon had a rough start and Adam Walker had the Braves’ sole XBH with a walk-off RBI double scoring Ronald Acuna and the Braves won 7-6.
Colon struggled throughout his 3 innings, giving up 5 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks against just a single strikeout. The Pirates 1-3 hitters in particular gave him trouble by recording 5 hits and 3 RBIs against Colon. Adam Frazier in particular was a real thorn in the Braves’ side all day, going 4-4.
