ATLANTA, Ga. (WSFA) - Coming off the heels of a record-setting Major League Baseball draft year, yet another Tiger is getting an opportunity to go pro.
Senior first baseman Cooper McMurray has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Atlanta Braves, according the University’s athletics department.
Cooper is the fourth Auburn player to sign a free agent deal and 11th overall player to be called to the big leagues this year.
McMurray was Auburn’s only player to start and play in all 61 games this year and finished his final season with a career-high .
