The Atlanta Braves wrapped up its 2019 regular season on Sunday by losing three-straight against the Mets — an unfortunate end-of-the-season sweep.
Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Brewers also took one to the chin, getting swept by the Rockies in Denver, including back-to-back walk-off losses — ending their hopes of upgrading their spot in the 2019 Playoffs.
That leaves the St. Louis Cardinals, themselves limping to the finish line after dropping four of their final five games, though, ending the season with a shut-out win over the Cubbies (9-0).
