Tomahawk Take Editor’s Note: The Atlanta Braves once again played well enough to win the ball game on Sunday, but came up short. The New York Mets, the best team in the NL East, scored six runs in the final two innings of the game, three in the 9th to tie it and three runs again in the 10th to take the victory. The Braves had a 7-4 lead going into the top of the 9th inning, but weren’t able to be victorious. Just another day in the life of a Braves fan. Everyone except Hector Olivera had at least one hit in the Braves lineup and they totaled 13 hits.
