Adam Duvall and Travis Demeritte continued their insane runs for Gwinnett at the plate as the Stripers took down Pawtucket by the score of 5-2. We’ll start on the pitching side as Patrick Weigel made his first appearance in Triple-A since he went down with an elbow injury in 2017 and he was excellent. He pitched a season-high four innings and gave up just a walk while striking out a pair of batters. The Braves have been very careful to manage his workload in his return from Tommy John surgery, but it is worth noting that he is already on the 40 man roster and could be a VERY interesting candidate for the rotation or the bullpen at some point this season.
