Michael Kopech and the Charlotte Knights staff shut down Gwinnett’s offense and ended Ronald Acuna’s hitting streak. The Braves lone run came in the 5th inning when Kyle Kubitza led the inning off with a single. Kade Scivicque followed with a single and an error by the right fielder allowed Kubby to come in and score. Kubitza led the way in the game with his 3 hits and Scivicque was the only other player to record a hit with his two.
