A late inning surge led by Ronald Acuna allowed Gwinnett to overcome a 4-1 and a 5-4 lead to take a game from the Durham Bulls. Acuna struggled in his first three at bats and with that so did the GBraves offense, with the only run coming off of a double from Luis Valenzuela that scored Kade Scivicque. The Braves entered the 8th inning down 4-1 when Acuna singled on a ground ball to the first baseman to lead off the frame and extend his hitting streak to 11 games.
