Pitching Is The Story For the Braves as Anderson, Newcomb Lead the Way
Another day, another very strong outing by Ian Anderson. Sean Newcomb also put up a big stat line for Mississippi.
Saturday was a good day for the Braves young pitchers. Top draft pick Ian Anderson pitched very well again even though the GCL Braves lost, while Sean Newcomb, Jaret Hellinger, Ryan Clark, and Ricardo Sanchez all had strong outings in wins. In fact the only one starter in the system to not have a strong outing was Casey Kelly, and he didn’t get a chance to have much of a start considering he left after just one inning.
