Things got off to a good start as Luis Marte led off the game with a double and then scored 2 batters later on a ground out from Austin Riley, but things took a tumble from there. Lucas Sims gave the lead up to the first batter he faced in the game on a home run, and through the rest of the first inning allowed 2 more runs on 3 hits and two walks.
