BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Braves fans flooded Paramount Bristol Friday for a team-hosted fan pit stop ahead of the Speedway Classic.
The pit stop featured merchandise, live performances, and interviews with three special guests — University of Tennessee Head Baseball Coach Tony Vitello, NASCAR legend Michael Waltrip, and 1995 World Series Champion Mark Wohlers of the Atlanta Braves.
Wohlers said the first Major League Baseball Game in Bristol will be a sight to see.
“Going outside of Atlanta a little bit and bring some talent up here,” Wohlers said. “So I think it’s going to be pretty special for the area.
