Atlanta Braves Give Major Update on Ronald Acuña Jr.’s Injury

The Atlanta Braves reinstated outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. from the 10-day injured list on Thursday, ending a brief absence that highlighted the ongoing challenges of managing one of baseball’s most injury-prone stars.

Manager Brian Snitker told reporters Thursday that right fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. worked out in New York before taking an early flight to Cleveland.

Acuña, who missed the beginning of the 2025 MLB season due to a torn left anterior cruciate ligament in 2024, was recently sidelined by a Grade 1 right calf strain he sustained during a game against the Kansas City Royals on July 29.
