The Atlanta Braves continued to shuffle today releasing Manny Banuelos and claiming Kyle Kubitza off waivers from Texas.
Bye Bye Banuelos
The Yankees signed Banuelos as an international free agent in 2008 and by the 2011 he was # 41 on Baseball America’s top 100 and # 27 on the Baseball Prospectus list. His star continued to rise that season and in 2102 BA & BP both had him at #29 and MLB rated him the #13 prospect in baseball.
That season ended with elbow issues for Manny and in October he had TJ surgery and missed all of the 2013 season.
