We’ve reached the 2/3rds point of the season. The non-waiver trade deadline has passed. It’s the first full week of August, and the Atlanta Braves have a clear-cut MVP on their hands. His name, is Nicholas William Markakis.
For those of you that don’t know me, or follow me on the Twitters, I am, in every sense of the word, a Kakes fanatic. I love the dude. I don’t care about advanced metrics, or even really the standard stats when it comes to Kakes. The man is a ballplayer. Period!
However, we all know that just watching a guy play can tell you a little bit about his make-up, but it doesn’t tell you the whole or full story.
