More bad news for the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday afternoon…they will have to place Adonis Garcia on the disabled list and he will be out for a while.
On Monday, Garcia had surgery to repair ligament damage on his left ring finger. The doctor who completed the surgery was Dr. Gary Lourie in Atlanta.
Garcia was placed on the 10-day DL on June 7 with the finger issue, but it was originally believed to be not a significant injury. When placed on the DL, the Braves called it a “sprained left ring finger.
