The 2015 MLB Draft was the first draft in which former general manager John Coppolella was in charge, and it certainly left its mark on the club. I thought with us approaching the three year aniversary of that draft, now was as good of a time as any to see just how this crop has progressed.
While it’s too early to truly grade this draft, its not too soon to start evaluating how things look today. I will look at each pick from the first 15 rounds one by one, and then from there players of note.
Round 1, Pick 14: Kolby Allard, LHP
Kolby Allard looked like a steal here and seemed like a potential top of the rotation starter at the time of the draft.
