The Houston Astros have signed right-hander Enyel De Los Santos to a major league contract, bringing him aboard just in time for this weekend’s series against the Yankees in the Bronx.
It’s a quick homecoming for De Los Santos, who spent part of last season with New York. The Yankees acquired him from the San Diego Padres at the 2024 trade deadline, looking for bullpen depth down the stretch. But his time in pinstripes was brief and rocky.
