When you look back on a 2018 season, it was a season that was filled with a number of surprises for the Atlanta Braves. One of the biggest had to be the contributions made by Anibal Sanchez who was transitioned from late signing in spring training to starting Game 2 of the National League Division Series.
Sanchez told the AJC’s Gabe Burns on Tuesday and said that he plans to pitch again in 2019 and that he would welcome the chance to return to Atlanta.
After a couple of rough seasons in Detroit, Sanchez had trouble finding work at all last offseason.
