Braves General Manager Alex Anthopoulos spoke on Mike Soroka’s injury timeline and Freddie Freeman’s extension talks in an on-air interview during Bally Sports’ opening day broadcast.
When asked about an estimate for when Mike Soroka could make his return form tearing his Achilles tendon last season, Anthopoulos said that the team expects to find a game during the second homestand of the year to fit him back into the rotation. This would be sometime in the timeframe from April 23rd to April 29th. It should be a big boon to the Braves to have the young right-handed pitcher back into the rotation.
