Adam Duvall hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning in support of a good performance by Max Fried to help the Atlanta Braves snap a four-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the San Francisco Giants.
The Braves needed a good start from Fried and he delivered. Fried allowed a leadoff single to Donovan Solano in the third inning. Anthony DeSclafani moved him to second with a bunt but Fried then got Darin Ruf to ground out and Austin Slater to fly out to end the inning. Slater reached on a two-out single in the sixth and then stole second.
