The Braves are back in action on Friday night after a bizarrely bonkers victory against the Mets, and so are Ronald Acuña Jr. and William Contreras, batting first and eighth, respectively:
This is the second time the Braves are using this particular lineup; the first time was that awful, obliviousness-induced 4-3 loss to the Mets on Tuesday. But, it’s going to be the 11th time they’ve used this starting eight (by far the most common starting eight for the Braves this season), and they’ve gone 6-4 in those games so far, so that’s kind of neat.
