Neither Freddie Freeman or Ronald Acuna Jr. had a hit in the All-Star Game, but Mike Soroka did throw a scoreless inning which was fun for Braves fans to see. Unfortunately, the National League did end up falling to the AL by the score of 4-3.
Ronald Acuna Jr. and Freddie Freeman got their starts on the National League All-Star roster and Freddie’s first at-bat wasn’t exactly a stellar one as he struck out on four pitches against Justin Verlander who mowed through the first three hitters of the game.
