Braves Rumors: Where will Michael Bourn Play in 2013?

Updated 12/13/12 11:35am ET

One of the hottest names on the free agency marketing this offseason is center-fielder Michael Bourn.

Bourn had an average year batting .274 and hit nine homeruns, but the quantity of quality center-fielders is slim this winter.

At one point Bourn was believed to be in line for a deal in the five-year, $75 million range at the start of the offseason. But as of now it seems as if the market has cooled off.

Continue to follow Chat Sports as the latest Braves rumors arrive!

According to inside sources, the most likely landing spot for Bourn is either in Seattle or Texas.

While Seattle might be the most likely landing spot for Bourn, the Rangers may wind up offering him the big bucks he wants.

Given the Rangers were in hot pursuit of Arizona's Justin Upton, but missed out on that,  and there is a high probability that Josh Hamilton leaves the Rangers might just be desperate to get Bourn on their roster.

There are a lot of dominoes that need to fall for Bourn to land in Texas, but we think he would probably be happiest there on a winning team with a nice contract to go with it.
