West Ham striker Danny Ings has been given an injection in his knee in a bid to speed up his recovery from injury.
The new £15million signing was initially ruled out for several weeks after suffering an injury to his left knee just 30 seconds into his Hammers debut, as they sealed a 2-0 victory over Everton.
The 30-year-old striker had only joined West Ham just 36 hours prior to his injury, dealing them yet another blow as they look to turn their season around.
