Benfica are lining up a new deal for Manchester United and Chelsea target Victor Lindelof which will double his release clause to £52m.
Both Premier League clubs, as well as Aston Villa, have expressed an interest in the Benfica star while he is also on the radars of Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
Lindelof is under contract at Benfica until 2020 but his release clause is currently a relatively low £26m, and the Portuguese club are bracing themselves for interest.
But now, according to O Jogo, Benfica are hoping to ward off interest from across Europe by rewarding the 22-year-old with a new contract which will up that figure.
