'The Premier League has a duty of care to address': Watford join Brighton and Aston Villa to become latest club to rally against Project Restart proposal... as sides prepare to lock horns over restart plans in Monday's meeting

Stuggling Watford are the latest side to publicly air grievances with the Premier League's Project Restart proposal.

Watford, who were 17th at the time of the league-wide shutdown due the coronavirus pandemic, join Aston Villa and Brighton in being concerned at the plan to resume the current campaign at 'neutral' stadiums.

Speaking to the Times, Watford chief executive Scott Duxbury insists the league have a 'duty of care' to teams that are fearful of the 'distorted nine-game mini-league' which is how he describes what Project Restart is proposing with a batch of neutral grounds deemed eligible to host matches.
