'That can't happen… to concede seven goals was unacceptable': Trent Alexander-Arnold admits 7-2 defeat by Aston Villa 'humbled' Liverpool but insists there is no 'concern' over Jurgen Klopp's leaky defence

Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted that Liverpool's shocking 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa last month was a humbling experience for the Premier League champions.

The Reds suffered their first and only defeat of the campaign so far when Villa ran riot at Villa Park, Ollie Watkins' hat-trick and Jack Grealish's bagging a brace.

It was the first time the Merseyside club had shipped seven in the top flight and the first time in any competition since 1963.
