Steven Gerrard says he's 'aware' of boo-boys in the Holte End as fans vent their frustration following the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea... but defiant Aston Villa boss vows he WON'T 'hide from responsibility, criticism or the noise'

Under pressure Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has admitted that is fully aware of the frustration from supporters and could hear the chants aimed in his direction from the Holte End on Sunday.

Gerrard's Villa succumb to a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Villa Park and it's a result that leaves his side one point above the bottom three.

Chelsea supporters goaded the Villa manager with cries of 'you're getting sacked in the morning' with a small number of home fans joining in. Gerrard was then booed off the pitch following the full-time whistle, as Mason Mount's double condemning his team to a fifth loss in ten this season.
