Steven Gerrard has revealed he has turned down the opportunity to manage in Saudi Arabia.
The Liverpool legend has been away from the dugout since last October after being sacked by Aston Villa.
A return to the touchline appeared to be on the cards after he was reportedly approached by Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq, and Gerrard had been linked with a reunion with his former team-mate and player Philippe Coutinho in the Middle East.
However, Gerrard has now confirmed that he has opted not to move to the oil-rich nation.
