Steven Bergwijn follows in Eric Dier's footsteps by becoming the latest Tottenham star to miss out on a spot at Euro 2020 as he is left out of Frank de Boer's final 26-man Holland squad... while Nathan Ake, Memphis Depay and Donny van de Beek are in

Steven Bergwijn has become the latest Tottenham star to miss out on a place at Euro 2020 after he was omitted from Frank de Boer's final 26-man Holland squad.

The Dutchman joins his midfield team-mates Eric Dier and Dele Alli in missing the tournament, after they were both left out by Gareth Southgate on Tuesday.

It was also bad news for Aston Villa's Anwar El Ghazi, who made the initial picks but is not being taken to the tournament with the Oranje.

There is space for a number of English-based players, though, with Manchester City's Nathan Ake, Tim Krul of Norwich, Brighton's Joel Veltman, Crystal Palace's Patrick van Aanholt, Georginio Wijnaldum of Liverpool and Manchester United's Donny van de Beek all among the squad.
