Goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell (finger) is likely to miss out again, so Lewis Price will deputise.
Aston Villa winger Andre Green (hamstring) is out for a month and midfielder Gary Gardner (ankle) is also sidelined.
Conor Hourihane is again likely to replace Gardner, having come on for him in the midweek win over Bristol City.
After coming off the bench, Hourihane scored his first goal for Villa - his seventh in the Championship this season and the 48th of his career.
