Roberto Di Matteo is on the brink of the sack after Aston Villa's season reached a new low with defeat at Preston on Saturday.
The Italian is under mounting pressure from the Villa Park board following a difficult start to the season.
After the 2-0 defeat, Di Matteo said: 'There's a team here that is good, it will come good for us.'


Di Matteo also had to watch £12million signing Ross McCormack miss a late penalty and the manager added: 'We will keep working.
