QPR have made an enquiry for Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack.
The Scotland international is available after manager Steve Bruce criticised his attitude and revealed he had not turned up for training owing to faulty electric gates at his house.
However, any hopes Villa have of recouping the £12m they paid Fulham last summer have dwindled following Bruce's comments.

Derby and Sheffield Wednesday remain interested and QPR would like to take him on loan.
The concern for the Loftus Road club is whether they can match the prolific 30-year-old's wages.
