Manchester United are reportedly lining up Aston Villa's Tom Heaton as their back-up goalkeeper if David de Gea leaves the club this summer.
De Gea has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after losing his No 1 spot to Dean Henderson. Sergio Romero is also out of contract at the end of the season and looks set to leave.
According to the Daily Star, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would consider bringing Heaton back to the club he left in 2010.
The shot-stopper came through the youth ranks at United but did not make a first-team appearance before joining Cardiff.
