Kevin De Bruyne believes he still has an outside chance of playing in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday as he races to recover from a shoulder injury.
De Bruyne damaged ligaments towards the end of Manchester City's Carabao Cup final win over Aston Villa last weekend and missed the FA Cup victory at Sheffield Wednesday.
Manager Pep Guardiola will provide an update on De Bruyne's injury at lunchtime on Friday but it's understood that City are ready to give him as long as possible to prove his fitness.
