Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho remain on course for England’s European Championship’s squad despite Jesse Lingard’s emergence as an option for Gareth Southgate.
Aston Villa star Grealish and Borussia Dortmund forward Sancho missed the previous squad through injury, Southgate’s last selection before he names his Euros squad.
Lingard played in all three of England’s recent World Cup qualifiers is known to have deeply impressed Southgate up his return to the international fold.

But Sportsmail understands Grealish and Sancho, who would be in direct opposition with Lingard for a place in the squad, remain firmly in Southgate’s thoughts as he finalises his plans for the Euros.
