'I want to win the Champions League': Emiliano Martinez says he is still 'hungry' after Argentina's World Cup win and is eyeing UCL football, but admits it will be 'difficult' to achieve while at Aston Villa

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has named winning the Champions League as his next career goal, but admitted it will be 'difficult' to achieve with his current club.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent moths after his role in Argentina's recent World Cup triumph in Qatar.

He picked up the golden glove and saw his side through penalty shoot-outs in both the quarter final and final.

Despite winning football's greatest prize, Martinez insists he is still eager to expand his trophy cabinet, as he told France Football: 'I'm still hungry, I want to win the Champions League.
